This immersive, field-intensive 9-day course introduces students to marine science methods while grounding these experiences in a systems-transformation perspective. Students will spend time at COA's Bar Harbor campus and then at Mount Desert Rock field station, conducting marine mammal surveys, seabird monitoring, intertidal transects, and oceanographic measurements.
