Join us for an exciting, hands-on alternative energy camp designed for curious minds! In this one-week adventure, we will explore the science behind renewable energy sources like solar and wind through interactive hands-on experiments, creative projects, and real-world problem solving. From positioning solar arrays to designing wind turbines, students will learn how clean energy works and why it matters. This camp combines fun STEM activities with environmental awareness, inspiring the next generation of innovators to imagine a more sustainable future. Be prepared to spend part of each class outside doing activities weather permitting. Ages 12-16. Course runs March 16-20, 2026, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM. A day-long workshop focused on using information about solar and wind energies to teach state standards. Teachers who participate will receive STEAM lesson plans for teaching about renewable energy and supplies including solar and wind energy education kits.

Biweekly program where campers can power up with Renewable Energy, exploring solar, wind, water, and geothermal energy through hands-on experiments, fly drones with exciting aerial challenges (Grades 5-9), or create in Makerspace with projects like solar vehicles, bridges, and recycled inventions (K-4). All tracks include weekly field trips, including the Energy & Environmental Resource Center and ACUA. Space is limited. Program runs 9am - 4pm EST.
