Student Science Training Program (SSTP)

A seven-week residential research program for students entering grade 12 (at least 16 years old) considering careers in science, medicine, math, computer science, or engineering. Program includes 30 hours/week research participation with UF faculty, daily lecture series, UF honors seminar class, weekend fieldtrips, social events, and service activities. Students must commit to entire program with no departures allowed except for pre-approved one-time family events. RISE Internship / Practicum Program - Research in Science & Engineering

A 6-week summer research program for domestic high school junior students passionate about sciences. RISE offers two tracks: Internship (40 hours/week working on research projects with faculty mentorship) and Practicum (structured research environment with lectures and group research).
