Hatchlings - Parent Workshop

Expectant & new parents, please join us for a 3-session workshop (3/9, 3/16, & 3/23) to learn ways to support baby's development with playful early learning activities. This interactive early literacy program includes books, songs, rhymes, and fun activities. Each session focuses on different aspects: Session 1: Baby's Brain (March 9), Session 2: Read, Talk and Sing with Baby (March 16), Session 3: Building a Routine (March 23). Families receive a FREE tote bag with book, toy, and song book. Limited to expectant parents and families with babies 0-4 months old. Made possible with help from Friends of the Library and Mother Goose on the Loose.

Camp on the Coast - Summer Theatre Workshop

The Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Summer Theatre Workshop is a two-week residential camp designed for high school students seeking a highly intensive and creative theatre experience. Participants will rehearse and perform in a one-act play directed by one of six highly successful theatre educators. Students interested in performance will study acting, improvisation, and movement in morning classes taught by TAMUCC Theatre faculty. Registration opens February 15, 2026. Non-refundable deposit of $500 required with application.
