ASM International Materials Camp
A week-long, hands-on academic day camp designed to introduce rising high school juniors and seniors to materials science and engineering. Run by graduate students from Drexel's MSE department in conjunction with ASM International Philadelphia Chapter. Includes lectures, laboratory sessions, industry visit, team design project, electron microscopy, heat treating, tensile testing, polymer synthesis, and composites work. Program concludes with college admissions presentation and barbecue luncheon with networking opportunities.
