ASM International Materials Camp

A week-long, hands-on academic day camp designed to introduce rising high school juniors and seniors to materials science and engineering. Run by graduate students from Drexel's MSE department, includes lectures, laboratory sessions, industry visit, and team design project. Activities include electron microscopy, heat treating, tensile testing, polymer synthesis, and composites. Wraps up with college admissions presentation and barbecue luncheon. Application requires transcript, recommendation letter, and personal statement.
