Program covers various academic majors including computing, digital media, engineering, and biology through classroom lectures, hands-on experiences, field trips, and speaker presentations.

Join EICC's award-winning media tech and studio director, Jeremy Ferguson for a hands-on introduction to the world of film and television! In this dynamic summer camp, youth will: Learn the secrets behind the scenes of film and TV production. Get hands-on with professional cameras, audio gear, and editing tools. Collaborate to create a short film or TV show from concept to final cut. Discover the art of teamwork in media production. Special Bonus: Your finished project will air on Muscatine Channel Nine TV--so your friends and family can see your masterpiece on screen! What to Bring: Costumes (if you have them!), Your creativity and big ideas, A smartphone (optional) if you'd like to film on your own device. Summer Digital Media camp for ages 4-17. Camp runs June 15-August 21, 2026. Hours: 9am-4:30pm with optional before/after care. One-week or two-week sessions available. Registration opens March 7, 2026 for Prince George's County residents.

Two-week film-making intensive for grades 9-12. Students create short films from screenwriting to final production, working collaboratively on professional equipment. Culminates in final screening.

Music is an important part of the storytelling process in films. Learn how to compose cinematic music that evokes emotion using Hollywood film scoring techniques. In this class, we will develop a score concept, work with virtual instruments and compose music for an animation film. Sound design is taught by using textures and effects to enhance dynamics for visual impact. Musicians, non-musicians and film students are welcome.

Campers entering grades 4-10 explore robotics, video game design, sciences, digital media, and other activities. Teens in grades 10-12 can participate in Israel programs or leadership training. A Reform Jewish summer camp - all are welcome!

Students will write, act, record, and edit their own movies. Campers will create original films centered around camp life and teamwork while learning the basics of storytelling and filmmaking. For grades 7-12, runs July 13-17, Monday-Friday, 9:00-12:00.
