Two-week film-making intensive for grades 9-12. Students create short films from screenwriting to final production, working collaboratively on professional equipment. Culminates in final screening.

Music is an important part of the storytelling process in films. Learn how to compose cinematic music that evokes emotion using Hollywood film scoring techniques. In this class, we will develop a score concept, work with virtual instruments and compose music for an animation film. Sound design is taught by using textures and effects to enhance dynamics for visual impact. Musicians, non-musicians and film students are welcome.

Campers entering grades 4-10 explore robotics, video game design, sciences, digital media, and other activities. Teens in grades 10-12 can participate in Israel programs or leadership training. A Reform Jewish summer camp - all are welcome!

A 6-week intensive filmmaking program for high school students where participants write, produce, direct, and edit a film under the guidance of a professional filmmaker. The workshop meets Mondays through Thursdays for six weeks during the summer. Students will collaborate to create a polished script and short film through pre-production, production, and post-production processes. The completed film will premiere at Bryn Mawr Film Institute. Open to high school students, including rising ninth-graders.

Lights, Camera, Edit! Unleash your child's inner filmmaker as they become a digital director and enter the world of video editing! Throughout the week, campers will use OBS and CapCut to work on creative projects teaching them to record and edit their own videos. They'll craft engaging game commentary, produce a dynamic 30-second commercial, and deliver a compelling green screen news report. Along the way, kids will learn essential video editing skills such as trimming clips, setting key frames, and adding transitions to bring their visions to life. The grand finale is the capstone project, where each camper creates a video showcasing the skills and techniques they've mastered for our Code Ninjas Film Festival. That's a wrap! Got a kid eager to explore video content creation and channel management? This camp will provide them with the tools and skills needed to shine in the digital spotlight. To get started, Ninjas will create and customize their very own YouTube channel using a shared Code Ninjas YouTube Account. They'll express their creativity by designing unique channel art, eye-catching profile pictures, and engaging video thumbnails that will make their channel stand out. Ninjas will learn the ins and outs of recording, editing, and uploading their videos, transforming their ideas into shareable content. They'll also gain valuable insights by analyzing popular YouTube videos, discussing what makes them successful, and learning about copyrights and fair use to navigate the digital landscape responsibly. Recommended for children ages 11-14. Runs Monday-Friday from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM.

Week 5: Stop Motion Studio camp for grades 1-7. Full day camp Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm. Led by certified master STEAM teachers.
