6-week DJ workshop series teaching mixing, beatmatching, transitions, stage presence, and personal branding. Includes dates: 3/31, 4/7, 4/14, 4/21, 4/28, 5/5 plus showcase on 5/9. Culminates in UP ON JUMP rooftop showcase performance. No special experience required. Participants should bring a playlist of songs they enjoy and laptop (headphones optional). All other equipment provided including professional DJ decks and sound gear.

In this dynamic summer camp, youth will: Learn the secrets behind the scenes of film and TV production. Get hands-on with professional cameras, audio gear, and editing tools. Collaborate to create a short film or TV show from concept to final cut. Discover the art of teamwork in media production. Special Bonus: Your finished project will air on Muscatine Channel Nine TV--so your friends and family can see your masterpiece on screen! What to Bring: Costumes (if you have them!), Your creativity and big ideas, A smartphone (optional) if you'd like to film on your own device. From brainstorming and designing digital layouts to transforming their creations into printed masterpieces, this camp combines creativity with tech skills. 4 sessions running Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM.

Two-week intensive program focusing on Extended Reality (XR) development. Students learn creative expression, XR process & prototyping, AR development, and portfolio development. Participants will create a basic working prototype of an augmented reality experience using contemporary development platforms like Aero or SparkAR. Program includes orientation on July 2 at 4pm EST via Zoom. Prerequisites: Algebra 2 or comparable logic class. Open to ages 15+ (grades 9-12). International students requiring visas must apply 8 weeks prior to program start.

Students will write, act, record, and edit their own movies. Campers will create original films centered around camp life and teamwork while learning the basics of storytelling and filmmaking. For grades 7-12, runs July 13-17, Monday-Friday, 9:00-12:00.

A 5-day summer camp for ages 8-10 exploring special effects, props, and movie magic through hands-on projects. Runs Monday July 20 through Friday July 24, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily. Campers will craft their own scenes and creative surprises. Registration opens for Clay Center members on January 23 and to the public on February 2. Light afternoon snacks provided, campers must bring bagged lunch or can pre-purchase lunch. Wrap care available 8am-9am and 4pm-5pm for additional fee. Currently sold out.

A hands-on STEAM program for Grades 2-5 that blends engineering, coding, robotics, and creative technology with essential life skills. Students design and test engineering prototypes, code games and apps, tackle robotics challenges, and explore art, circuits, and digital storytelling. The program builds protective factors like resilience, emotional awareness, confidence, teamwork, and decision-making skills. Requires Jersey City residency for Grades 2-5.
