Scouts Aviation Day

Scout's BSA Aviation Day happening concurrently with 'Wind and Wings: The Science of Flight' event. Participating Scouts will learn how airplanes work, about various aviation terms, careers in aviation, and pilot certifications, and even create an FPG-9 to take home. Great opportunity for Scouts to interact with other troops and work together to earn their Aviation Merit Badge. Transportation Extravaganza is a new summer day camp hosted at ASU for rising 11th and 12th-grade students who are curious about the world of transportation--from walking and biking to trains, cars, airplanes, and everything in between. Over five action-packed days, students will explore ASU labs, participate in hands-on transportation-related challenges, and take field trips to local transportation hubs and infrastructure sites, such as airports, traffic management centers, or engineering facilities. This summer camp is a four-day hands-on immersive STEM experience for students entering 6th and 7th (this fall) in advanced manufacturing and careers. Tomorrow's Engineers Week

Tomorrow's Engineers Week is an annual, national campaign designed to celebrate and showcase careers in engineering and technology. The week-long celebration includes assemblies, Q&A sessions with real engineers, and various activities to inspire young people about jobs in engineering and tech. In 2025, more than 60,000 young people from schools across the UK participated. The 2025 theme was 'Dare to discover' - showing that trial and error is central to engineering and tech. Tomorrow's Engineers Week will return in 2026.
