Trees of the Revolution

Trees have always been an important part of our lives providing us with food, shelter, and income. Some species were especially important during the early days of our nation. Join us on a hike to learn about the role that American forests had shaping the country as we know it. Registration for this program will open at 8:00 AM on February 1, 2026.

Girl Scouts Crafting America at Tyler State Park (morning)

Brownie and Junior Girl Scouts, join Tyler State Park and Girl Scout leaders for a celebration in honor of America's 250th birthday. Travel back in time and make hand-dipped candles, tin punch ornaments, simple embroidery, and rag dolls. We will do the same program at 10 am - 12 pm and 1 pm - 3 pm. $5 per scout covers material and patch and reserves your place.
