Marine Science Day 2026

24th annual Marine Science Day open house event featuring exhibits, children's activities, seining in the York River, tours, seafood cooking demonstrations, and more. Located at the Batten School & VIMS campus in Gloucester Point. This fun-filled family-friendly event takes place rain or shine with all exhibits and timed activities included with entry. Food and beverages will be available for purchase on site. Advance registration is highly encouraged. Marine Life Costume Contest included with awards for most original plant or animal, most creative use of sustainable materials, best group costume, best representation of a plant or animal, and grand prize.

2026 Wisconsin Science Festival
