One on One Computer Help for Beginners

Get help with basic computer skills including: Saving and managing files, Navigating the internet, Setting up and using email, Using the library's website and e-resources, Downloading/streaming e-books, audiobooks, and more. 30-minute individual sessions. Registration required - call 240-773-9545 on Wednesday mornings at 10am. Registration opens two weeks prior to the program date. Patrons can only sign up for one 30-minute session each day and must be present for scheduled appointment time. Check in at Information Desk. Bring library card, devices, and any related information including account logins and passwords.

Basic Computer Class

A class for adults, providing an introduction to using a computer. Perfect for beginners! Sign-up for a two-week course introducing you to computer basics. In the basics course, you will learn: What is a mouse, and how do you use it? What is an internet browser? What do these buttons on the keyboard do? 6 computers available for use by registered participants. The course will run every two weeks. This course takes place March 3rd and March 10th. Due to limited availability, students may only repeat the two-week course up to 3 times. Registration will open three weeks prior to the program date.
