Alpha I Camp

Alpha I is a statewide week-long summer camp open to West Virginia youth ages 12-21. Campers participate in week-long workshops, build teamwork and leadership skills within small age-specific peer groups, engage with guest speakers during hands-on assemblies, and develop new skills while learning lifelong habits for a healthier life. The camp runs from Sunday, July 5, 2026 to Friday, July 10, 2026. Adult volunteers must be vetted through WVU Extension and register 15 days in advance. The camp is accredited by the American Camp Association.

Middle School Leadership Program

The Middle School Leadership Program at the Academy of Notre Dame aims to give young women skills and confidence both inside and outside the classroom, empowering the next generation of leaders. Rising 4th through 8th graders will participate in activities that will develop and enhance their leadership skills. During the leadership program, students can expect to do some of the following: practice public speaking in front of their peers, challenge themselves in a ropes course, participate in service-learning, and develop verbal skills to set boundaries in self-defense. This Leadership Program is devoted to creating more opportunities for young women to find their voice - and have fun along the way! Time: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm, July 6-9

Older Member's Conference (OMC) - 4-H Leadership Camp
