Join us for a multisensory book and storytelling session for neurodivergent children & children with intellectual disabilities who learn best through sensory play. Each fun original story has an educational component and an inclusive message. The storytelling sessions are interactive, with sensory props and storyboards used to engage the young audience with gentle sounds, scent, touch, and sight accompanying the story. The multi-sensory books are enjoyed by children of all abilities, so siblings and friends are welcome too! This program is presented by ReadAbility, a nonprofit organization run by DMV area high school students. For ages 3 and up. Parents/caregivers MUST accompany children during this program. Registration is required. Please only register once per family group.

Look, listen, touch, taste, smell - your senses are amazing tools for exploring the world! Through colorful experiments, playful textures, exciting sounds, and tasty discoveries, campers will use their senses to investigate, discover, and play like real scientists. Currently sold out. A 4-day outdoor camp (April 27-30, 2026) where children bring stuffed animals for imaginative adventures. Activities include building homes and shops for pets, water play, stuffed animal circus, and painting with pets. 100% outdoor program rain or shine. Ages 4-12. Drop-off program 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Children need snack, lunch, and water bottle daily. Staff are first aid/CPR trained and background checked. Full refund available if cancelled 3+ weeks in advance (minus 10% admin fee), 50% refund within 3 weeks.

This is a 4-day outdoor program running from 9am-2pm each day. Children will enjoy sensational adventures that challenge the mind while engaging all senses through activities like climbing trees, walking in woods, balancing on logs, swinging, rope climbing, crafting, wildlife discovery, and building structures. TimberNook is 100% outdoor program in all weather. Children should bring backpack with change of clothes, water bottle, snack and lunch. Drop-off program with 1:7 staff ratio.
