Science Café Brain Night 2026

The biggest neuroscience-themed party/public engagement event in the country. Over 400 people attended last year. Eye on the Future Teen Video Contest

U.S. high school students can create videos in three categories: Science in your world, Science in action, or Science in your future. Videos can be created individually or in groups of maximum three members. Contest is organized by the National Eye Institute (NEI) to encourage students from all backgrounds to explore science. Winners from each category receive cash prizes. Contest closes on April 19th, 2026 at 11:59 pm Eastern Time or once the first 300 submissions are received.

North Carolina DNA Day

Annual event where scientists visit over 100 high schools statewide to present interactive, hands-on lessons about genetics, genomics, and biotechnology, reinforcing the North Carolina Standard Course of Study.
