Nature Tales: Pollinator Pals

Every Nature Tales includes an engaging, themed storytime led by Cumberland County librarians and a child friendly craft project selected and prepared by CFBG environmental educators. Storytimes are enhanced with engaging songs, puppets, and movement breaks. Themed crafts allow children to connect with nature and create a souvenir of their Garden experience. Target Audience: Designed for ages 2-5 with a parent or guardian. Siblings are welcome to accompany if included on the registration. Come dressed for the weather outside! There are two back-to-back one-hour sessions of this class offered: 10:00AM and 11:00AM. Storytime Benefits: Develops Early Language and Literacy Skills, Encourages Interest in Nature and Science, Promotes Creativity and Art, Supports Preschool Social and Emotional Development. Please check in with the Gift Shop on arrival. Nature Tales may meet in indoor Classroom or Children's Pavilion.

BIO5 KEYS Research Internship 2026

The BIO5 Institute's annual Keep Engaging Youth in Science (KEYS) Research internship is one of Arizona's premier training programs for high school students interested in developing STEM skills. This 7-week internship allows students each summer to immerse themselves in real-world projects under the mentorship of University of Arizona scientists. Prior to engaging in research, KEYS interns complete assignments focused on science literacy, data science, and biotechnology between April and the start of the program in June. The first week includes intensive training, followed by research work with paired U of A researchers. Program concludes with a research showcase. Benefits include 3 units MCB credit and assured admission to W.A. Frankie Honors college.
