OMSI After Dark: Brain Storm

21+ Only event exploring the structure and function of the brain, mind, and psyche. Features vendors, speakers, activities, science demonstrations, planetarium shows, food and beverage samplers. Includes access to featured exhibits, Turbine Hall, all activities, performances, planetarium shows, lectures, and vendors. Valid government-issued ID required for entry. Bars close at 9:30pm, alcohol samples end at 9:45pm. Parking $2 for after-hours events.

UNC Science Expo

One of the biggest science celebrations in the state featuring more than 100 booths with hands-on activities, games, science demonstrations, and behind-the-scenes lab tours. Part of the North Carolina Science Festival. Event runs rain or shine from 11 am to 4 pm. Includes main stage activities and food truck rodeo. Parking lot in front of Morehead will be closed during event.

Flywheel Fest
