Hands-On Science Camp 2026

Summer science camp for Pre-K through 8th grade students with over 25 classes including chemistry, earth science, space science, engineering, biology, robotics, and more. Weeklong camps run from June 15 - August 7, 2026 (no camps the week of July 4). Morning, afternoon, and full-day options available with supervised lunch break. UT PREP 1 Summer Camp

UT PREP 1 is a 5-week academic enrichment program for students graduating from 6th or 7th grade by Summer 2026. Students explore advanced math, engineering, and computer science concepts in Mathematical Problem Solving, Electrical Engineering, Logic, Robotics, and College & Career Awareness. All students are mentored and supported by UTeach Master and preservice teachers, K-12 educators, and UT students, faculty, and staff. Camp runs Monday-Thursday from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., with no camp on June 18th and June 29th - July 3rd. Completion qualifies students to enter UT PREP 2-4, which are approved by the Texas Education Agency to award high school credit.

Summer Day Camp: Life in the Forest

A 4-day summer camp where campers ages 7-14 will learn essential outdoor skills while exploring forest ecosystems through hikes, hands-on science, and nature journaling. Activities include plant identification, campsite setup, water purification, botany, forest ecology, eco-art, nature journaling, and hands-on science lessons.
