West Virginia Science and Engineering Fair (WVSEF)

The West Virginia Science and Engineering Fair (WVSEF) serves as an entry point for WV high school students to qualify for the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF). Middle school students can qualify for the Thermo Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge and the Lemelson Early Inventor Prize. Schedule: 8:00 a.m. Project Setup, 9:30 a.m. Opening Assembly, 10:00 a.m. Judging begins, 4:30 p.m. Public Viewing, 5:30 p.m. Awards Ceremony.

31st Annual New Castle County Science Fair

New Castle County students in grades six through twelve are eligible to participate in this challenging yet rewarding experience. Participants can submit an individual or team project (up to three persons). Students compete at their level and will be judged by a diverse panel of experts. Judges will evaluate the projects and may question students about how they arrived at their scientific conclusions. North Museum Science and Engineering Fair

The North Museum has managed the Science & Engineering Fair in Lancaster County since 2009, recently inviting Lebanon County students to participate. This regional science fair inspires thousands of young researchers to create, design, and discover the joys of science and engineering. As one of six fairs in Pennsylvania affiliated with the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), the top two students from the senior division earn a place at ISEF to compete with 1,500 peers worldwide. STEM for Rising 9th and 10th Graders (STEM 9/10)

A 12-day intensive STEM program for rising 9th and 10th graders (ages 13-15) featuring hands-on team research projects, experiments, and design-build challenges. Students choose from various STEM courses combining rigorous academics with laboratory/field exercises.
