Through interactive hands-on problem-solving, and real-world health scenarios, participants develop essential leadership skills in values, roles, responsibility and communication, setting the stage for successful future health care pursuits. RISE Internship / Practicum Program - Research in Science & Engineering

A 6-week summer research program for domestic high school junior students passionate about sciences. RISE offers two tracks: Internship (40 hours/week working on research projects with faculty mentorship) and Practicum (structured research environment with lectures and group research). Students can choose from research areas including astronomy, biology, biomedical engineering, chemistry, computer science, electrical and computer engineering, mechanical engineering, medical laboratory research, neuroscience, physics, psychology, and public health. Harvard Chan C-CHANGE Youth Summit on Climate Science, Medicine, & Health

A week-long intensive program where high school students explore climate change issues through the lens of science, public health, medicine, economics, and policy. Students choose an Action Focus (Climate Science, Communications, Entrepreneurship, Environmental Justice, Global Health, Healthcare, or Policy & Advocacy) and develop a Community Action Plan.
