Future City: Electrifying Your Future

Using the power of the Engineering Design Process (EDP) and project management skills, you'll tackle real-world sustainability issues, including the challenges of sea level rise, and showcase your innovative solutions to create a resilient and sustainable future for all. Activities include learning to design and program in VR to model a city of the future, touring Rolla downtown area, visiting Missouri S&T's Eco Village, and meeting with key city planners and administrators. EX.I.T.E. Camp - Exploring interests in technology and engineering

A free summer camp for Minnesota middle school girls and gender expansive youth with disabilities to explore the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) through fun, supportive, and hands-on learning. The Nathaniel Ellis Cannady, Jr. Scholarship supports graduating high school seniors from designated counties in North Carolina. Selection is based on academic achievement, commendable character, and participation in extracurricular activities. Students who are seeking an associate or bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, project management, or information technology on a full-time basis are welcome to apply. Requires minimum 3.0 GPA and top 30 percent class rank. Open to residents of Buncombe County, Haywood County, Henderson County, Madison County, McDowell County, Rutherford County, and Yancey County.
