UT PREP 3 is a 5-week academic enrichment program for graduates of the UT PREP 2 program. Students explore data analysis, research methods, and technical writing concepts in Research and Inquiry, Statistics, and College & Career Awareness. Students will use inquiry-based methods to conduct independent investigations, present findings at the UT PREP Research Symposium, explore UT's labs and facilities including Gregory Gym, build college preparation skills, engage with career speakers, and form relationships with friends and mentors. Completion qualifies students to obtain high school credit from the Texas Education Agency. Program runs Monday-Thursday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., with no camp on June 18th and June 29th - July 3rd.

Five-week camp for students who will have graduated from 8th or 9th grade by Summer 2026. Students explore university-level research while working on independent inquiry. Includes Research & Inquiry, Statistics, and Technical Writing courses. Features lab tours, career speakers, and college/career exploration. Camp runs Monday-Thursday from June 15th - July 23rd, 2026, with breaks on June 18th and June 29th - July 3rd. Grade requirements: 85 minimum in Math, Science & English (80 for advanced courses), 70 minimum in all other courses. Registration requires UT Ideal Logic PREP Application, UT EID, student survey, and grade report. NOT for high school credit.

A 3-week program developing essential data science techniques like data visualization and data wrangling, while teaching modern machine learning methodologies - the building blocks for today's AI field. Prerequisites include demonstrated high level math and/or data analytics experience.

Week-long intensive program for rising high school seniors designed to help them decide if they're interested in actuarial careers. Features interaction with actuaries and introduction to relevant software and content. Check-in: 2 p.m. Sunday, Check-out: 12 p.m. Friday. Students live in college residence hall with camp counselors. Letter of recommendation from high school math teacher required.

A free four-day summer camp for high school students (grades 9-12) focusing on data science. Students stay on campus in residence halls for three nights, starting Monday at 9 AM and presenting their work Thursday afternoon. Activities include learning R programming, statistics through hands-on activities, creating data science projects, utilizing AI programs, and campus exploration. Food and lodging are provided.

A 3-week program exploring sports analytics where students learn how real-life professionals use computer programming, statistical thinking, and data to make deep discoveries in sports. Prerequisites include high level math and/or data analytics experience and interest in sports.

Week 3 of STEM Academy: Forces in Motion. Students explore forces, motion, energy, and sustainability through project-based learning in physics, computer programming, robotics, and statistics, examining how these concepts intersect in real-world systems through a partnership with Xavier University Faculty. Learning outcomes include explaining how forces, motion, and energy interact in real-world systems, working collaboratively to design and complete STEM projects, applying the scientific method to test ideas and analyze data, and communicating results clearly through presentations and demonstrations. Duration: July 6-10, 2026.
