Explore Physical Science

Learn about the properties of waves, magnetism, sound, light, and many more as we explore God's creation in the natural world. Each session will support the topic through hands-on application while students collaborate together to solve problems and design experiments. Open to students ages 11 to 18. This is a 3-hour program scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The program includes three hands-on, interactive sessions covering Year 4 topics: Properties of Heat/Temperature, Properties of Magnetism, and Properties of Electricity. Celebrate the Emerald Equinox with family-friendly science and seasonal fun! Explore light and rainbows with a build-your-own spectroscope, make pressed flower sun catchers or bookmarks, and enjoy hands-on seasonal activities--a festive way to welcome spring with creativity and discovery.
