Step into the world of emergency response! This exciting, hands-on summer camp gives youth the chance to meet real-life heroes from fire departments, law enforcement, dispatch, EMS, and other first responder agencies. Throughout the camp, different professionals will share what they do, demonstrate their equipment, and teach important safety tips. Campers will learn how first responders keep our communities safe and how they can be prepared for emergencies themselves. Every camper will build a basic emergency preparedness kit to take home. 4 sessions running Monday through Thursday.

This course will teach students basic First Aid and CPR principles so they are prepared in case of an emergency. Following this course, if passed successfully, will give students a 2-year certification from the American Red Cross in First Aid, CPR, & AED. Time: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, June 22 & 23
