Marine Science Pre-College at Eckerd - Session 1

A one-week residential marine science program for high school students entering 11th or 12th grade. Students work with Ph.D. professors on Tampa Bay conducting hands-on marine biology research, shoreline dynamics, reef ecology studies, and more. Activities include collecting and studying marine life, dolphin observation, shorebird watching, nature preserve visits, plankton studies, and coral reef ecology. Students must pass a swim test of 150 yards. Program includes all meals, lodging, activities, and transportation.
