Get help with basic computer skills including: Saving and managing files, Navigating the internet, Setting up and using email, Using the library's website and e-resources, Downloading/streaming e-books, audiobooks, and more. 30-minute individual sessions. Registration required - call 240-773-9545 on Wednesday mornings at 10am. Registration opens two weeks prior to the program date. Patrons can only sign up for one 30-minute session each day and must be present for scheduled appointment time. Check in at Information Desk. 2nd Saturday Bird Walk

2nd Saturday Bird Walks are intended to help beginning and intermediate birders with bird spotting and identification techniques. There are also plenty of opportunities provided for participants to ask questions from experienced birders. Prairie, woodland, and wetland habitats are included in these walks. This program is typically offered monthly from September through June annually. These walks begin promptly at 8 AM and last 1.5 hours. Optional extended time is available by participant request. Be sure to arrive on time, because if you come a few minutes late, the group may have already started their walk.
