Spring Break at the Museum

Multi-day spring break activities at Will Rogers Memorial Museum from March 16-20, 2026. Daily activities from 1-3 p.m. include: Monday - blacksmithing demonstrations, traditional dyeing, weave spinners, lacemakers, quilters and museum vault tours; Tuesday - Cowboy Day; Wednesday - Aviation Day with flight simulator, astronaut exhibit, helicopter display and paper airplane contest; Thursday - Route 66 day with Cars movie screening and pinewood derby; Friday - Mid-Afternoon Frolic Talent Show. Each activity is based on aspects of Will Rogers' life including his cowboy days and aviation passion.

Spring Break at the Museum

Spend afternoons during spring break at the Will Rogers Memorial Museum. Events are planned every day from March 16 to 20 between 1 and 3 p.m. to keep kids learning and entertained during their school break. Each activity is based on a specific aspect of Will Rogers' extraordinary life, ranging from his time as a cowboy to his passion for aviation. Thursday, March 19 is Route 66-The Will Rogers Highway day! We celebrate all things Will Rogers Highway. Enjoy a screening of the Disney-Pixar movie Cars, with popcorn. The Boy Scouts are bringing their pinewood derby for kids to experience. Enjoy a day learning about Route 66.

Will's Wild West Kids Camp

A three-day camp for children ages 7 to 12 running Monday June 15 through Wednesday June 17. Activities include games, 19th-century activities, crafts, nature programs, Cherokee storytelling, and a cowboy magician. A chuck wagon lunch will be served. Each camper will receive a cowboy hat, shirt, rope, and crafts projects they create. Children will learn about Will Rogers, cowboys, and what life was like in pre-statehood Oklahoma. Registration opens on March 1.
