Science Café: Brain Night

Join scientists from NC State University for Brain Night at the Museum! From flies to humans and every animal in between, brains make behavior happen. Come explore the brain/behavior connection at a special Science Cafe event. Event includes hands-on brain- and behavior-themed exhibits suitable for all ages, short accessible talks by neuroscientists, and a keynote presentation followed by Q&A. The Daily Planet Cafe is open 5-8pm with a full menu during the Science Cafe.

Science Café: Illuminating AI Night

An evening discussing exciting local research in data science and AI from scientists at NC Museum of Natural Sciences, UNC-Chapel Hill, RENCI, and NC State University. Learn about AI applications in animal research, health research, and participatory science. Schedule includes 6-7pm meet and greet with scientists and themed exhibits, followed by 7pm keynote presentation on using AI to increase value of Museum specimens.
