Competitive Integrated Employment - Free Self-Paced Online Course

This free, self-paced online course is designed for North Carolina parents, caregivers, and professionals. The course focuses on Competitive Integrated Employment to help youth with disabilities build independence, gain job skills, and become active community members. Participants will learn how youth can work in the community, earn minimum wage or higher, and build a future after high school. The training covers benefits of working, addresses common fears and myths, and shares practical ways to remove barriers to getting and keeping a job. Even students with significant disabilities can succeed at work with the right supports. Training is accessible for 3 weeks from March 9-April 6, 2026. Certification of completion for 2 hours will be provided to participants who complete the training.

The 141st Annual Academy Meeting

The 141st Annual Academy Meeting will take place on March 21, 2026, 7:00 AM-6:30 PM at the JW Marriott-Downtown Indianapolis. The annual academy meetings bring together 100's of Indiana and Midwest senior and junior scientists from industry and academia, graduate and undergraduate science students, engineers, science educators, and science enthusiasts for a full day of Indiana science. The Meeting agenda includes nearly two hundred oral and poster research presentations, hot topic presentations, workshops, and panel discussions. Abstract submissions are due by February 28th, 2026. Registration opens in early January 2026.
