Arizona Science and Engineering Fair (AzSEF)

The Arizona Science and Engineering Fair (AzSEF) is the state science fair for Arizona. Managed by Arizona Science Center, AzSEF brings together first-place winners from school, homeschool, district, county, and regional science fairs across Arizona to compete for thousands of dollars in prizes and scholarships. The Grand Award winners in the Senior Division from the state-level fair will be selected to compete at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (RISEF). Paper Airplane Flying Contest - Pipestem Resort State Park - April 4, 2026

Pipestem Resort State Park announces its first-ever Paper Airplane Flying Contest! The contest is fun for all ages and features three contestant groups: 12 and under, teenagers, and adults. There will be some really cool prizes for all age groups on each contest date. Six days of paper airplane flying competitions will take place throughout the summer of 2026. Additional contest dates include: May 30, June 20, July 4, Aug. 22, and September 5.

Pointer Overflow CTF

POCTF is designed for learners, newcomers, and anyone exploring the world of cybersecurity and CTFs. Whether this will be your first competition or your next milestone, this contest is built to be accessible, educational, and community-driven. The Pointer Overflow CTF is organized in honor of the students and alumni of the CIS: Cybersecurity program at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. The contest continues to support our mission of expanding hands-on cybersecurity education through the Center for Cybersecurity Studies and Advanced Research. Event runs from September 27, 2026 to December 6, 2026. Format: Jeopardy. Prizes include $200 for 1st Place Academic Team, $100 for 2nd Place Academic Team, $100 for 1st Place Team, $50 for 1st Place Individual, and Certificate of Participation for all contestants.
