Drop-In Reading Practice with Fostering Success In-Person

2026 Hawaii State Elementary STEM Expo

The Hawaii State Elementary STEM Expo is open to students in grades K-5 enrolled in any public, private or home school in Hawaii. Students can participate as individuals, teams, classrooms, or entire grade-levels. All projects must be uploaded to MYSCIFAIR by March 1, 2026, and schools must send a list of which project will represent their school by the same deadline. The expo features both in-person presentations at Blaisdell Exhibition Hall and virtual showcases. There is no formal judging, but silent voters will vote on favorites for prizes offered by the organization and sponsoring agencies.

STEM Challenge

Students will learn about STEM and participate in an exciting challenge or experiment. This program is designed especially for students in grades K-5. The activities may be challenging for younger children, so participants must meet the age/grade range. Space is limited and registration is required. Online registration will open two-weeks prior to event start time. Sign-up one child per registration. If placed on the wait list, you will be notified by email when a spot becomes available. Walk-ins are not guaranteed entry. Generously funded by the Friends of Ridley Township Library.
