Wednesday Walk

The natural world has long been a source of respite, creativity, and wonder. Join for a guided walk to explore nature through artistic lenses and different seasons. Wednesday walks run bi-weekly through April. A variety of trails and topics will be incorporated so repeat participation is most welcome. Please arrive prepared with appropriate footwear and clothing for the conditions. The distance and duration will vary depending on the chosen trail - approximately 1 mile and 1.5 hours. This walk is geared towards adults, but ages 12 and older are welcome.

Get Outside All Together (G.O.A.T) Hikes

Join the F&W community for exploration of nature and time to connect with others in your area. Hikes will be led by a volunteer, will typically be one hour, and sometimes followed by a BYO lunch together. Includes a F&W classic circle up, a 1-1.5 hour hike/walk/stroll, learning something new about someone and/or the surrounding environment, and an unplugged & interconnected experience. Wild Ones - TimberNook Lake Winnebago Region Roxaboxen

Children will have the opportunity to create their own Roxaboxen in the woods today, inspired by the book Roxaboxen by Alice McLerran. This is a 100% outdoor program for ages 7-12. Drop-off program from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Children should bring backpack with change of clothes, water bottle, snack and lunch. 1:6 staff to child ratio. CPR/first aid trained staff onsite.
