RAD Games

Cosumnes CSD's (RAD) Recreation Adventure program is hosting this free event to provide an opportunity for kids and adults with disabilities to try a variety of sports and fun activities. This will be a fun and safe event for all. All ages and abilities welcome. Minors must be chaperoned by an onsite guardian or companion. Athletic clothing and swimwear recommended. Pre-registration is encouraged as supplies are limited. Registration available online, in person at customer service locations, or by phone.

Sensory Friendly Playtime

Join us for an event exclusively for kids with disabilities and their families to experience Marbles in a calmer, quieter environment. Partner organizations will be on-site along with other accommodations to assist with your visit to Marbles. Prior to Sensory Friendly Playtime in the museum, guests can enjoy a free Lights Up, Sound Down movie in Marbles IMAX at 5pm: Pandas.

Catalyst STEM Program

Year-long STEM program (June 2026 - June 2027) for high school students with disabilities. Includes hands-on labs, paid STEM internships, certification opportunities, Life 101 skills, field study trips, college and workforce readiness, case management and transition planning. Multi-year participation encouraged. Week-long summer session plus Saturday sessions during school year. Partnerships with NC State, Wake Tech, NC Museum of Natural Sciences, NASA, EPA, and industry partners like ABB, Thermo Fisher, and Lenovo.

EX.I.T.E. Camp - Exploring interests in technology and engineering

A free summer camp for Minnesota middle school girls and gender expansive youth with disabilities to explore the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) through fun, supportive, and hands-on learning. Camp runs from August 3-7, 2026, with an intro session on August 4 and concludes with a Munch and Mingle event. Camp is currently full for August 2026. Complete online interest form to apply.
