American Exchange Project: Experiential Civics in Action

Picture this: Students from across the U.S. are watching the sun set over the Pacific. Among them is a line-dancer from Texas, an aspiring chef from L.A., and an avid reader from Vermont. A first-of-its-kind free domestic exchange program gives students the chance to create connections across lines of racial, social, and economic difference at a crucial time in American history. Hear how experiential civics can be used to break cycles of distrust and division, create a more connected America, and cultivate civically-engaged citizens for generations to come.
