Louisiana 4-H Leadership Board Applications

The Louisiana 4-H Leadership Board application process opens in March and closes May 1, 2026. Applicants must be enrolled in 9th to 12th grade during the 2026-2027 school year. Each parish is allowed three applicants per ambassador and board. Each applicant may apply for two boards but can only serve on one State Leadership Board. Applications must be initiated by the 4-H Parish Agent within 4-HOnline system. Available boards include: Citizenship Board, Executive Board, Fashion Board, Food & Fitness Board, Shooting Sports Board, STEM Board, and various Ambassador programs (Equine, Livestock, Wetland).

EXPLORING THE NATURAL WORLD OF UWGB

Explore UW-Green Bay summer camp welcomes Oneida youth, rising 7th-9th graders, to campus for a week of hands-on learning grounded in land, language, and community. Led by the Cofrin Center for Biodiversity's Andrew LaPlant and Joe Torres, with support from CSET's Sam Betancur and CCB staff and student employees, campers explore the natural world through immersive STEM experiences. They will investigate native plants, creeks, aquatic life, birds, wetlands, prairies, forests, and even an ancient rock outcropping while meeting UW-Green Bay faculty, staff, and students who care for these ecosystems. Open to Oneida Nation citizens only.
