Science for All Youth Summit

A conference-style event designed for students in grades 4-7 from underserved and underrepresented backgrounds in STEM. Features hands-on activities led by graduate and undergraduate students from UNC-Chapel Hill, NC State University, and Duke University. Activities include: Colorful Chemistry, Ziplines engineering challenge, Ping Pong Pickup device building, computer science concepts without computers, biology DNA extraction, and strawberry DNA experiments. Volunteer training sessions on February 24 or 26 from 5-6 pm. Supported by Gilead Sciences.
