Outdoor Skills with Hunter Education Camp

For ages 11-14. This camp fulfills the requirement of the North Dakota Hunter Education Certification. All campers will participate in classroom-style sessions and live fire sessions in shotgun, muzzle loader and archery. There is required work to complete before camp begins. The required hours of Hunter Education instruction are a minimum of 14 hours. Participants will learn basic survival and first aid skills, basic trapping skills, and tree stand safety. Camp runs August 2-6, 2026, beginning with check-in at 4 p.m. Central time and ending at 11 a.m. Central time. 4-H membership is NOT required for participation. Registration opens March 1, 2026.
