ARISE Summer 2026 - Applied Research Innovations in Science and Engineering

ARISE is a free 10-week summer research program for rising high school juniors and seniors who are NYC residents attending NYC schools. The program combines foundational training with hands-on research experience in over 80 NYU research labs. Students receive safety training, college writing workshops, research skills development, and work with faculty on real-world projects. Program includes ~120 hours of lab experience, public speaking development, college application support, and concludes with presentations at NYU and the American Museum of Natural History.

Exploring Climate Change Through AI and Engineering Research. Work alongside teachers and researchers as you develop and test lessons that connect students to current engineering research topics, including applied artificial intelligence systems.
