The 10th Anniversary Hoover Trophy Reception brings together leaders, innovators, advocates, and policymakers to celebrate those who continue to strengthen general aviation and inspire the next generation. This invitation-only reception honors the legacy of R.A. 'Bob' Hoover and recognizes rare leaders in aviation whose mastery is matched by humility and whose influence is measured by how many others they lift along the way.

For ten years, the R. A. "Bob" Hoover Trophy has honored the rare individuals who embody the very best of aviation - extraordinary skill, quiet leadership, deep humility, and an unwavering commitment to lifting others. This milestone 10th Anniversary Hoover Trophy Reception brings together leaders, innovators, advocates, and policymakers to celebrate those whose courage, character, and service continue to strengthen general aviation and inspire future generations. Awardees include Barry Schiff (Hoover Award Winner), Glendon Fraser (McGee Inspiration Aviation Award), Mike Busch (Richard G. McSpadden General Aviation Safety Award), Douglas Rice (Sharples Award), U.S. Senator Dan Sullivan (Joseph B. "Doc" Hartranft Award), and Randy Mahoney (AOPA Foundation Future of Flight Award).

Please join Nebraska Cures to honor the commitment of the Team Jack Foundation to raising money for pediatric cancer research. We will also celebrate our Omaha Woman in Science Dr. Gabrielle Merchant. There will be a brief program starting at 6pm. Drinks and hors d'oeuvres are included.

The NCFA sponsors an annual Forestry Day in the Legislature. The event provides an opportunity for NCFA members to come to Raleigh and meet with their elected officials in a relaxed atmosphere. This year's event will be enhanced by our collaboration with the North Carolina Trucking Association. Forestry Day will include an evening reception from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12, at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences. NCFA members are encouraged to meet with their elected officials throughout the day, or the following day. Forestry Day in the Legislature is a highly anticipated and popular event with the members of the North Carolina General Assembly and their staff.
