The 2026 Oklahoma History Symposium will be held on May 2, 2026, at the Oklahoma History Center in Oklahoma City. Sponsored by the Oklahoma Historical Society, the symposium is a one-day event encompassing a range of historical topics pertaining to Oklahoma. It provides a venue for scholars, students, educators, public history professionals, and the interested public from across the state and region to share their work and interests with others. We will convene during preparation for two significant commemorations: the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, and the 100th anniversary of the designation of US Highway 66. Therefore, the 2026 symposium will center on the theme 'Milestones in Oklahoma History.' Proposals are now being accepted for presentations that examine significant events in Oklahoma history from a variety of perspectives. The call for proposals is closed.

Flight Night is the signature fundraising event of the Tulsa Regional STEM Alliance, supporting transformative STEM learning opportunities for hundreds of thousands of students across Oklahoma. The evening features multiple air shows, a dazzling drone show, recognition of Oklahoma's top STEM educators, live auction, gourmet dinner, and drinks. This is a 21 and over event. Sponsorship opportunities available from $2,500 to $50,000.
