Potomac Teen Writers' Group -- IN-PERSON 2025-26

Join up with published teen writers and share your ideas and prose while you learn from your peers that you, too, can improve your writing and be published. This program is for individuals 13-18 years of age. You will learn the essential mechanics of the craft of writing including story plot, character development and dialogue, adding tension, pacing, and setting. At every meeting, your efforts will be supported by peer critiques and suggestions. The instructor has led the club for seven years with members having 100+ stories published.

The Next Chapter Book Club is a community-based book club that welcomes adolescents and adults with intellectual & developmental disabilities to read, learn, make friends & have fun. Anyone 16 & over can participate, no matter their reading level. Winter/Spring Session for the Wednesday club begins February 4 and goes through May 13.
