36 Hours to Save the World

36 Hours to Save the World is a virtual 'hackathon-style' event where high school students ages 13-17 compete to find innovative, interdisciplinary solutions to a Global Challenge. Each iteration of our Global Challenge Weekend is a unique topic designed by faculty mentors to create collaborative opportunities that bridge STEM and Humanities, crossing time zones and skillsets to address issues in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. In one intense weekend experience, students will brainstorm possibilities, research options, pitch ideas, develop prototypes and present their projects to impress our judges and win Best Global Challenge Solution. J'COB College Experience Summer Program

A transformative, week-long residential opportunity for rising high school seniors designed to inspire the next generation of business leaders. The program combines experiential learning, teamwork, and campus immersion. Students are introduced to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and develop creative problem-solving skills. The program culminates in a high-energy hackathon where participants present innovative business solutions to real-world challenges. J'COB stands for Junior Executives in the College of Business and represents a five-year journey through the College of Business, with this summer program serving as YEAR ZERO. Application opens March 1, 2026 and closes March 31, 2026 at 11:59 pm EST. Requirements: Rising high school seniors (current juniors), minimum 3.0 GPA.
