SHSU exCITEd STEM Workshop - Digital Twins: Industrial Uses of Gaming

Learn how engineers use the same technology behind hit video games to build 'Digital Twins' of buildings, bridges, and cities. In this workshop, you'll design a bridge on paper and use simulation logic to predict exactly where it will break before we test the physical model to destruction. Presidential Lecture Series: Bruce Leak - Multimedia Pioneer and Engineer

Part of Purdue's Presidential Lecture Series. Leak worked at Microsoft testing early Microsoft Word prototype, led development of QuickTime foundation at Apple, co-founded Rocket Science Games, and founded WebTV. Currently backs founders working at the edge of engineering and sciences through Playground Global. Specific location will be announced later this semester.

Animazement

Get in on the action at Animazement, a three-day Japanese animation and culture celebration over Memorial Day weekend that draws 15,000 attendees to the Raleigh Convention Center.
