60-minute hands-on, standards-based workshop focusing on space science. Includes extended learning take-home component and museum experience. Sessions run simultaneously for age groups 5-7 & 8-10. Topics include: Why is Pluto a Dwarf Planet? What does Earth's orbit have to do with our seasons? Do constellations ever change?

Scouting America: Sky is the Limit for Tiger Cub Scouts

Join us as we investigate the complexities of the universe in this hands-on workshop for Tigers. We'll explore the sun, moon, and constellations while learning planet pneumatics and creating our own constellations. Tiger Cubs must attend with a paying adult (Packs are welcome with one adult); solo Tiger Cubs are not allowed to participate. Online registration closes one week before the event. Cancellation policy: Email programs@nhmu.utah.edu with confirmation/order number no later than two weeks prior for refund less 10% fee. Cancellations less than one week before receive no refund.
