The Next Chapter Book Club is a community-based book club that welcomes adolescents and adults with intellectual & developmental disabilities to read, learn, make friends & have fun. Anyone 16 & over can participate, no matter their reading level. Winter/Spring Session begins February 4 and runs through May 13. Meets weekly in-person at the library from 4:00-5:00 pm. This session will be reading from Tom Fish & Jillian Ober's 'Something's Brewing: short stories & plays for everyone'. Multiple meeting dates: March 4, 11, 18, 25; April 1, 8, 15, 22, 29; May 6, 13, 2026.

The Adult Literacy Program offers free ESL, GED, and Citizenship classes. These classes are in-person, hybrid, or on Zoom. Classes are held during the day and in the evening. Classes run on the academic calendar year, from late August to early June. This program supports Basic Literacy as defined by the PA Forward Star Program. Recurring weekly sessions through June 8, 2026.
