E-Day 2026

Open house event for middle and high school students (6th-12th grade) to learn about majors and career opportunities in engineering and computer science. Students will tour the college, meet faculty and students from various departments and student organizations. Information about admissions, housing, and financial aid will be provided. Check-in starts at 8 a.m. with programming beginning at 8:30 a.m. School registration requires one adult chaperone per 10 students. Individual students must bring a parent or guardian.

North Carolina DNA Day

Annual event where scientists visit over 100 high schools statewide to present interactive, hands-on lessons about genetics, genomics, and biotechnology, reinforcing the North Carolina Standard Course of Study. Scientists discuss their ongoing research and share career opportunities in science and biotechnology. The event reaches over 7,000 high school students and takes place on or around April 25th.

Rocketry and Aerospace Engineering Camp

Camp spotlights aerospace programs at UT San Antonio. The Aeronautics and Rocketry Club will work with participants to build their own rocket, customizing it and understanding the effect of each modification. Aerospace-focused faculty will host lessons, workshops, and lab tours on aerospace research and career opportunities. Dates: July 6 - 10, 2026
