Scientists are supposed to focus on the facts, right? Does this focus on the facts rule out hope? Is there a time or place for hope in good science? A panel of WVU scientists will share their ideas about the place of hope in science. Light refreshments will be available. Sign Language Interpreting and Captioning Services are available by request - contact LibraryDeanOffice@mail.wvu.edu at least 3 business days prior to event. No registration is required, but is encouraged for planning purposes.

The annual academy meeting brings together 100's of Indiana and Midwest senior and junior scientists from industry and academia, engineers, graduate and undergraduate science students, science educators from the state's public and private high schools and middle schools, and general science enthusiasts, for a full day of Indiana science, including hundreds of oral and poster research presentations, hot topic presentations, workshops, and even panel discussions delivered by experts from Indiana and across the United States. Event runs from 7:00 AM-6:30 PM.
