A free two-week summer camp introducing students to the science of flight and diverse careers in aviation. Activities include hands-on flight instruction on FAA certified simulators, 30-minute discovery flights with certified instructors, aerodynamics testing through indoor skydiving or ziplining, engineering design challenges, rocket launches, aircraft mechanical school exploration, and meetings with aviation and cybersecurity experts. Camp runs Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM ET. Free transportation provided from National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC. Lunch, snacks, and transportation to activities included. Open to 6th-8th grade students during 2025-2026 school year, with preference for Title I school students or those qualifying for free/reduced lunch.
