4-day residential pharmacy course for high school students entering their sophomore through senior year. Students discover the expanding role pharmacists play in improving patient lives, gain insight into science disciplines involved in pharmaceutical research and development. Includes hands-on experiences in drug modeling, design and development, compounding lab work, field visits to pharmacy settings, drug information research, patient care assessment and counseling. Students who attend and earn admission to the 0-6 Direct Entry program are eligible for a $1000 scholarship.
