Telluride Association Summer Seminar (TASS)

Free, rigorous academic seminar in humanities and social sciences with deep intellectual engagement. Very selective (competitive national selection). Eligibility: High school sophomores & juniors (ages 15-17). Duration: ~6 weeks (June 21 - July 25, 2026). 36 Hours to Save the World

36 Hours to Save the World is a virtual 'hackathon-style' event where high school students ages 13-17 compete to find innovative, interdisciplinary solutions to a Global Challenge. Each iteration of our Global Challenge Weekend is a unique topic designed by faculty mentors to create collaborative opportunities that bridge STEM and Humanities, crossing time zones and skillsets to address issues in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. In one intense weekend experience, students will brainstorm possibilities, research options, pitch ideas, develop prototypes and present their projects to impress our judges and win Best Global Challenge Solution. Application opens February 28, 2026.
